All or Nothing
✨ATTENTION FELLOW PERFECTIONISTS✨⠀
Raise your hand if you’ve ever been so serious and dedicated to your goals. You spent HOURS pouring over a detailed and beautiful plan that you were DEFINITELY NEVER going to stray from and commit 100% too .... #nevergiveup #hustle
Maybe you even bought some fancy accessories to help really keep you on track and motivated...💸💸💸Only to find yourself completely avoiding and ignoring the plan at the first sign of perceived failure.
🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️⠀
Yikes. ⠀
When we become so rigid about creating habits and meeting goals, we often set ourself up for disappointment because anything outside of the plan feels like failure
Failure = bad. ⠀
Or is it?🤔⠀
Next time you notice yourself falling into 'all or nothing' thinking, Remember that failure is an event - NOT a person. The difference between the experience and thoughts of
"I am a failure"
vs
"I have experienced failure"
are important and even life changing. YOU are not a failure. Your worth is not determined by what you produce or an arbitrary ranking of success.
You can be stubborn about your end goals, but don’t forget to leave room for flexibility along the way.
Failure is clarity in what doesn’t work.
Failure is a part of growth and success. It can be good - even GREAT!⠀
So next time you get stuck feeling like you’ve abandoned the plan - recognize that you can always return back and start right where you left off, only a bit wiser and more experienced👍🏻⠀
