It isn't easy to find a therapist that is a good fit. A connection is important to establish that feeling of safety so you can share and truly be yourself. If you are here looking for a therapist to "vibe" with, I commend you. That's a vital step to your healing. So here's my shtick! I am trained in several therapeutic orientations, however, my favourites are IFS (Internal Family Systems), EFT (Emotion Focused Therapy), and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). What this is means that our sessions will emphasize creating safety to identify and express emotions, focus on aligning with personal values, and accepting, loving and (and maybe even healing) the parts of the self that need the most attention.

Developing strong and healthy relationships is my priority and passion, including the therapeutic relationship we build together. I have an extensive background working with youth, but also specialize in religious/spiritual trauma, gender and sexual identities, attachment, and anxiety or depression with people of any age. I also enjoy working with couples using attachment and the Gottman method.

If you find yourself struggling, I encourage you to reach out. I would love to work with you and provide a safe place for you to land. Maybe we will even have a few laughs along the way:)

I am a woman with many interests and hobbies! When I am not a therapist, I am an elementary music teacher and I also play and perform in a rock band. I love cheese and I’m a sucker for good baking. Coffee is next to oxygen in my books, and when I’m not doing my hobbies and eating cheese, you’ll probably find me on random adventures with friends or listening to nerdy podcasts while cleaning.
