Tracy Cross

 (She/her)

Registered Psychologist #7372

Many years in the human services field, combined with personal life experience, has taught me firsthand the value of seeking support and discovering hope, especially within the context of healing and supportive relationships.

My approach is grounded in the fundamental belief that every person holds intrinsic worth and the potential for personal growth and healing. Attachment theory informs my practice, recognizing the profound impact of secure, supportive relationships on emotional healing and growth. In my practice, I emphasize the importance of authenticity, respect, and genuine curiosity when engaging with clients, recognizing the profound impact these values have on the therapeutic experience.

I approach therapy holistically, pulling from somatic, cognitive, humanistic, and existential traditions to establish meaningful goals and guide the therapeutic process. In sessions, I lean towards a casual style, prioritizing genuine conversation, clear communication, and the use of humour to create a comfortable and interactive environment.

If this sounds like a good fit for you, let’s connect and explore together!

I share my life with my husband, our two children, and a small yet spirited senior dog. I’m all about strong coffee, losing myself in a good book, and exploring new food and restaurants. Adventure calls to me, whether it’s camping, hiking, enjoying live music, or simply being outdoors. I love travelling and discovering new places and cultures, always on the lookout for fresh experiences and natural beauty. Staying active is a big part of my life—you’ll find me practising yoga, in the dojo kickboxing, or lifting weights to stay strong and energized.
