Greetings! My name is Alex Boyko, I grew up between northern and central Alberta. I’ve been in the helping profession since 2011. I have been a registered social worker since 2015. I’m an integrative social worker, which means I utilize a variety of theories and modalities to meet clients where they are at; however, my focus is on trauma-informed ways of knowing. I have worked with people from a variety of walks of life and am excited to help you!

My areas of specialization include trauma resolution processing, complex trauma from adverse childhood experiences, navigation of anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.

I have training in trauma/Mental Health disorder treatments: Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Theory (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and others.

I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, time in nature, going to the gym, running, biking, golf, cross country skiing, snowboarding, fishing, reading, coaching, yoga, and anything outside.
